‘Mahanati’ will present the rise and fall of Savitri

Nag Ashwin, the director of the biopic on legendary actress, Savitri, shared that Keerthy Suresh had 110 changes in the film. Normally, an actress will have only 40 changes, but in the biopic, Keerthy had to go through 110 changes, added the director in a recent interview.
The Mahanati director, said that to ensure perfection and authenticity, the unit has taken utmost care. The movie aims at presenting the rise and fall of the diva, who had acted in more than 300 movies in her life time, said Ashwin.Hailing the actress as a star who was ahead of her time, Ashwin the biopic will not be focused on controversies on her personal life.
Dulquer Salmaan plays the role of Gemini Ganesan in the much expected biopic. The movie marks the director’s second venture after the success of Yevade Subramanyam.
